  About EduServ®
   

The EduServ® system is about the automation of the management of the different aspects of an educational institution. It was set up following a decision, taken at the level of the Ministry of Educaion and Training in Tunisia, to design a new system for the management and evaluation of the internal resources in educational institutions. The system aims at improving

•  the management system of pupils' scholarity,

•  the daily management of educationl human resources at the level of regional boards of education (RBE),

•  the management of spaces and equipments.

   
   
   
  Goals  
   

There are three major goals for designing EduServ®

•  to develop a flexible and simple interface using a development tool under Windows,

•  to remedy deficiencies enumerated by users at the level of the educational institutions,

•  to integrate new modules that will enable the extention of the system into regional boards of education.

  Principal Functions  

 

A - Schooling    

 

1. Management of pupils' dossiers
   

Allows processing pupils' dossiers, viewing and updating data relevant to pupils.

 

2. Management of yearly registration
   

Provides the automation of the registration procedure of pupils.

 

3. Management of the distributions of the groups
   

Allows group formation and permutation between group members of the optional subjects.

 

4. Management of absence
   

Allows processing, updating and the follow-up of the (un)authorized absences of pupils.

 

5. Management of sanctions
   

Allows processing, updating and the follow-up of pupils' sanctions.

 

6. Management of quitting
   

Allows processing, updating and the follow-up of pupils' quitting.

 

7. Management of examinations

 

Allows automatic processing of pupils' marks and results, edition and publication of the end-of-term and yearly reports

 

8. Management of orientation
   

Helps the staff with the procedure of orienting pupils by the edition of the preliminary and annual statements.

 

9. Management of cultural and social activities
   

Allows the follow-up of the pupils' activities within the educational institution.

 

10. Programming of Courses
   

External Modules

 

11. Management of national examinations
   

Facilitates the transfer of data regarding national examinations from schools to regional and central departments.

 

B - Institutions
   

This module is about the management of the non-teaching staff and equipment of schools. It allows

•  Processing and management of general-interest data,

•  Processing and management of data relevant to supervisors, administrative staff and workers,

•  Processing and management of the various types of spaces, their use and the follow-up of their maintenance,

•  Processing and management of equipments; in laboratories and integration spaces and their use and maintenance,

•  Elaboration of dynamic statistics about pupils' results and the various resources of educational institutions.

 

C - Teachers
   

Management of teachers within EduServ® allows:

  • Processing and management of data relevant to teachers,
  • Processing and management of teachers' activities,
  • Processing and management of the follow-up of their continuing training,
  • Management of teachers' participation in the national contests for promotion.
  • Processing data relevant to the movements of teachers.

 

D - Management of Nomenclatures
   

Ensures the updating and transfer of the standard nomenclatures at the national level.
