136 000 teachers will receive the C2i certificate in ICT

• A graduation ceremony was held yesterday, Tuesday 24 November 2009, in Hammamet for the first group of teacher trainers who have obtained the certificate of information technology C2i under a partnership agreement between the ministry and Intel Corporation. This event included a press conference dedicated to the presentation of the ministry’s strategy in the field of educational technology, and to the cooperation program with Intel in the area of teacher training in ICT and the Web site that has been devoted to distance training within this program. The conference was followed by a certificates awarding ceremony under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed El Hédi Aissa, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Education and Training, and in the presence of Mr. Naceur Masrouki, the General Secretary, and a group of high executives from both the Ministry of Education and Training and Intel Corporation.
